Assistant Inventory Manager Mitre 10 MEGA Hamilton [New Zealand]


 

With change comes new opportunities and we are having a bit of a reshuffle in our Inwards and Inventory teams. This has created an opportunity for a new role – Assistant Inventory Manager.

The Assistant Inventory Manager will be responsible for managing both the Inventory and Inwards Goods teams across both branches and will be required to work at both branches as well. This role will report to the Inventory Manager and sit in the support functions area of the business.

Key accountabilities for this new role include, but are not limited to:

  • Responsible for stock integrity across the business.
  • Ensure stock processes are aligned across both Hamilton branches.
  • Responsible for purchasing all promotional stock.

A proven track record in the following will also be beneficial in the role:

  • Enthusiasm and team spirit.
  • Good process and procedure analysis skills.
  • Great attention to detail, problem solving skills and time management.
  • Quick thinking and the ability to follow procedures.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Previous team leadership experience.
  • Experience in Inventory would be advantageous.

The role is 40 hours per week, worked Monday to Friday.
