CSR (Customer Service Representative) [Canada]

We are a local, family operated organization called Heart to Home Meals based out of Aurora, Ontario and we are looking for a caring and compassionate person to join our team with a mission of enhancing the lives of aging adults throughout our community. We are committed to supporting seniors who want to remain in their home for as long as possible and meet the challenges of aging with dignity, care, and compassion by offering a meal delivery service that provides great tasting, nutritional food to seniors living in Bradford, all of York Region, Caledon, Orangeville, and surrounding areas.

At the heart of this remote position is the relationship between you and the potential customer. You do more than just place follow-up calls; you care about your customers well-being. You bring kindness, patience, and reliability. We provide you with training and support to help you become a successful, professional customer service representative so that together we can make a real difference to the lives of the customers that we serve.

Your duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Provide excellent customer service via active listening and professional communication.
  • Outbound calls to individuals who have attended presentation/taste testing seminars to answer questions, present program details and if interested secure initial orders.
  • Maintain day to day monitoring of potential customer interactions, book phone appointments and follow up after all customer discussions.
  • Maintain notes in customer database and provide weekly updates to the office.

Requirements to be a Customer Care Representative:

  • You must have excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
  • Genuine desire to communicate with seniors and treat them with respect.
  • Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner. Courteous, compassionate, respectful, engaging and customer centric.
  • Professional phone etiquette – friendly, upbeat, positive attitude a must.
  • Exceptional organizational and follow-up skills are essential.
  • Training is Provided - outbound call center experience is an asset.

Job Type: Part-time, Remote

Salary: $15.00 per hour

Schedule: 4-hour daily shift (flexible, sometime between 10am-4pm), Monday to Friday only
